Onwards champions!

This post marks the first of many posts in my Warhammer blog.

I have been a collector of miniatures ever since I was in my early teens, starting off with Lord of the Rings, progressing into the 40k universe and then expanding into the fantasy world as well, however as of now I only really focus on 40k and fantasy, with Lord of the Rings being just a fond memory.

In the 40k universe, I fell in love with the looks of the XV9 battlesuits of the Tau, and thus the start of my first 40k army, which is now sitting at roughly around 2500 points, probably more if upgraded to the maximum. So after amassing a sizable force of Tau to decimate foes with volleys of ion weaponry, I turned my attention to the two most iconic armies in the 40k universe; The Tyranids and Space marines.

At this point, any sane person would be content, one army ready to play with, and two in progress to be built and painted, but I? No no, I decided that "Ooo, Fantasy looks pretty awesome", and so I suddenly added another army to my  'to do' list, Tomb Kings to be precise. So what can be expected to be found among the litter of my random thoughts strewn across this blog, will hopefully be the progress of the three armies stated above (perhaps more if something catches my eye).

Next up will be what Santa was kind enough to give me for Christmas!

See you then!
